About Castone

Castone's Production Facilities

Our modern 80,000 square-foot plant facility is housed under one roof. The office and plant are located on 58 acres of land which provides more than adequate space to store our products at the plant site. The plant contains a new computerized 4 cubic yard batch plant. This modern batch system is greatly beneficial in maintaining consistency in strengths, color and textures in any given mix design.

Six 10-ton bridge cranes are utilized to provide more than adequate means of handling materials for the metal fabrication shop, mold shop, casting and finishing areas. Castone fabricates all of its anchors, reinforcing steel, molds and performs all finishing "in house." In-house control is extremely valuable and gives us an advantage in our day to day production activities. Castone is proud to be able to maintain unique centralized control over all of its production activities.

Castone’s plant is certified under the rigid requirements of the APA Plant Certification Program. A major requirement of the certification program is to identify and define the functions of each department such as sales/estimating, engineering, production and finishing, quality control, shipping and delivery, and project coordination. To maintain this certification program our plant is re-certified each year by a registered professional engineer.

But as much as Castone Corporation is proud of our facility, we recognize our most single important resource as our people. They make the organization work.
